Believe it or not. Here I am venturing into the world of blogs. Ralph and I attended the RootsTech conference in February co-sponsored by BYU and FamilySearch where I heard lecture on benefits of blog communications. Time to move beyond the spectator, enjoying the postings on grandchildren and other family members, to active participant. Taking advantage of a quiet Easter Sunday afternoon, I dived head first into the blog world. Hoping all you experienced family bloggers can provide guidance to me along the way.
Nothing unusual to report about this week beyond the many city meetings for me and Oakland Family History Library duties for Ralph. We celebrated Abby and Megan 10th birthday at Orinda's new Bonfire Pizza at Theatre Square topping it off with Loard's Ice Cream.
Four Eagle Scouts were awarded Saturday at Moraga Ward to Christian Thatcher, Mitchell Larson, David Fuhriman and Zach Sorenson. One of the best Court of Honor programs I've seen; no surprise when you consider their capable mothers. On the way out to my car afterward, I was amazed by the flock of several turkeys. (Let's see if I can manage to include photo; Voila I did it!)
Some new engagements announced in the ward. John Friar marrying Leilani Fisher this summer and Roxanne Dawson to Billy Mathias from New Jersey on June 4.
God bless all this Easter Sunday with gratitude for the sacrifice and atonement of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ lovingly on our behalf. Choose the right and hold fast to the iron rod.

Good job on the blog, Mom! I liked the pictures. And Bonfire Pizza and Loard's sounds great - I'll have to check it out next time we're in town.
Super blog! My needs updating in a big way.
I'm impressed mom! Especially with the pictures!
